India’s ancient ethos of communal harmony, rooted in tolerance, pluralism, and peaceful coexistence among diverse faiths, has been brutally ravaged by the invasive, foreign force of Islam. While Indian values celebrate “unity in diversity” and mutual respect , this ideal crumbles under the weight of Islam’s doctrinal push for supremacy and domination. Far from fostering harmony, Islamic teachings and historical actions in India reveal a pattern of ruthless hegemony, marked by mass slaughter, forced conversions, temple desecrations, and unbridled violence against non-Muslims (kafirs). This article exposes the grotesque atrocities committed in the name of Islam, drawing directly from Quranic mandates for bloodshed and the barbaric records of Muslim invaders and rulers, proving Islam’s fundamental incompatibility with India’s peaceful core. Furthermore, it highlights how modern madrasas perpetuate this hatred, argues that non-Muslims comprising over 80% of India’s population must not be demeaned as kafirs, and calls for drastic measures: suspending Articles 25-28 of the Indian Constitution to curb religious freedoms abused by Islam, and reprinting the Quran to align with Indian ethos by excising all verses promoting violence against non-Muslims. As a foreign import, Islam and its adherents have no inherent claim to Indian soil, treating it as a battleground rather than a homeland.

Indian Values: Shredded by Islamic Invasion

India’s cultural foundation prizes harmony and non-violence, with leaders like Gandhi advocating respect across religions to preserve societal fabric.

Yet, this vulnerability has been exploited by ideologies demanding submission or death. Islam’s arrival through conquest unleashed centuries of terror, transforming India’s landscape into a graveyard of indigenous traditions. Collectivist Indian society, which avoids conflict and values community, became easy prey for a faith that glorifies conquest and subjugation. With Hindus making up approximately 79.8% of India’s population (around 966 million in 2011, projected to remain dominant), non-Muslims form the overwhelming majority over 80% when including other faiths, yet they are relentlessly targeted as inferior kafirs by a minority (Muslims at 14.2%, or 172 million).

This foreign religion has no right to label the native majority as enemies. Muslims, as inheritors of an alien creed brought by invaders, are the true foreigners in India’s civilizational heartland.

Islam’s entry into India began with Arab invasions in the 7th century, but the true horror unfolded with Turkic and Mughal rulers who wielded the sword of jihad to enforce hegemony. Mahmud of Ghazni, a fanatical invader, raided India 17 times between 1000-1027 CE, massacring hundreds of thousands, looting temples like Somnath, and enslaving survivors. His armies slaughtered 50,000 Hindus in a single raid, desecrating idols and forcing conversions under threat of death. But Aurangzeb epitomized Islamic brutality: he beheaded Sikh Guru Tegh Bahadur for defending Hindu rights, destroyed over 10,000 temples including Kashi Vishwanath and Krishna Janmabhoomi, and enforced mass conversions through torture and economic matters. His farman (decree) in 1669 commanded governors to raze all non-Islamic schools and temples, leading to rivers of blood. In one instance, he ordered the execution of 700 Brahmins who protested temple destruction.Other invaders like Timur (Tamerlane) in 1398 massacred 100,000 Hindus in Delhi alone, piling skulls into pyramids. Alauddin Khilji starved prisoners to death and skinned them alive. The Bahmani Sultans in the Deccan hunted Hindus like animals, boasting of killing 100,000 annually.

Women and children were not spared: invaders abducted and sold them into slavery, with harems filled by force. These acts weren’t aberrations but fulfillments of Islamic doctrine, as rulers cited jihad to justify genocide.

Critics like Dr. B.R. Ambedkar condemned Islam as a “closed corporation” that views non-Muslims as enemies, treating India as Dar-ul-Harb a land to be conquered and Islamized through terror.

Quranic Mandates for Slaughter: Divine License for Atrocity

Islam’s holy text, the Quran, provides the blueprint for this carnage, with 26 verses explicitly commanding violence against kafirs. These aren’t mere words but divine imperatives that fueled India’s holocaust.

Quran 9:5, the “Sword Verse,” orders: “When the sacred months have passed, kill the polytheists wherever you find them and capture them and besiege them and sit in wait for them at every place of ambush.” This directly targeted Hindu idol-worshippers, justifying invasions like Ghazni’s.

Quran 2:191 snarls: “Kill them wherever you come upon them and drive them out… For persecution is far worse than killing.” Equating resistance with a fate worse than death, it greenlights preemptive slaughter.

These institutions indoctrinate young minds with jihadist ideology, glorifying violence against non-Muslims and fostering anti-Hindu sentiments . Textbooks in these schools glorify violence for Islam’s sake, teaching students to view kafirs as enemies deserving death.

Madrasas teach hate against Hindus, brainwashing children with anti-nationalist views and calls to riot. Funded by oil money and unchecked, they propagate radical Wahhabism linked to global terror, turning pupils into potential militants.

The government must intervene, reviewing syllabi to eradicate anti-Hindu content and issuing strict warnings or better, shutting them down to prevent further radicalization.

Suspending Constitutional Protections: A Necessity to Tame Foreign Hegemony

Articles 25-28 of the Indian Constitution, which guarantee freedom of religion, have been weaponized by Islam to shield its hegemonic practices. Article 25 ensures free profession and propagation of religion, 26 allows management of religious affairs, 27 prohibits taxes for promoting religion, and 28 restricts religious instruction in state-aided schools. These provisions, meant for harmony, enable madrasas to teach violence unchecked and allow propagation of hateful verses. To protect the 80% non-Muslim majority, the Indian government must suspend these articles for Islam, imposing regulations on religious institutions and curricula. This would strip away the veil of “freedom” that cloaks anti-Indian activities, forcing adaptation or expulsion of foreign elements.

The Irreconcilable Clash: Islam’s Perpetual Threat to Pluralism

Islam’s legacy in India is a tapestry of blood, with atrocities not as exceptions but as core to its expansionist creed. From Quranic calls to kill and terrorize to the genocidal reigns of invaders, this faith has systematically eroded India’s harmonious soul. As a foreign imposition, Islam views India not as a motherland but as territory for conquest, with Muslims inheriting this outsider status. Modern echoes, like communal riots, stem from the same hegemonic roots. Muslims have no right to brand the 80% non-Muslim population as kafirs, such slurs perpetuate division. To safeguard Indian values, this brutal history must be confronted head-on, rejecting any veneer of “peaceful coexistence” as a facade for domination. Reprinting the Quran sans violent verses, suspending enabling constitutional articles, and dismantling hate-teaching madrasas are essential.
